ENR KYC Submission and Approval System

Client Overview

ENR Singapore is a prominent international organization with a diverse vendor base. To streamline and secure its vendor onboarding and compliance processes, ENR aimed to digitize and automate its KYC (Know Your Customer) management.

Project Objective

ENR wanted to replace its manual, email-based KYC process with a centralized digital platform. The goal was to enable vendors to submit their KYC information online, allow internal teams to review, raise queries, and approve submissions efficiently, and implement an automated renewal system.

Our Solution

Megh Technologies designed and developed a secure, desktop-only KYC Submission and Approval Application, hosted under ENR's vendor subdomain. The application was built using Laravel (PHP Framework) and MySQL with a responsive frontend using HTML/CSS and JQuery.

Key Features Delivered:
  • Vendor Portal:
    • Registration with secure login.
    • Step-wise KYC form capturing corporate, financial, and banking details.
    • Upload support for statutory documents and UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) data.
    • Save as Draft and Final Submission functionality.
    • Declaration section with signature upload.
  • Admin Portal:
    • Review dashboard for new and resubmitted KYCs.
    • Query management system for incomplete or inaccurate data.
    • Approval process with auto-locking for one year.
    • Notification system for vendors and admins.
    • Automated re-KYC reminder system (via cron job).

Challenges & Solutions

  • Challenge: The client had no existing system and required detailed field-level validations and document handling across different company types.
  • Solution: Our team designed dynamic form modules with “Add More” functionality and customizable field logic based on entity types.
  • Challenge: Requirement for a future-proof audit and re-KYC system.
  • Solution: Implemented a cron-based reminder mechanism and KYC lock/unlock workflows with full admin control.
