Project Summary

Megh Technologies designed and developed quote tool application for one of client in manufacturing of water pump and doing smart city projects in India from which users can easily creating quote for their prospects with margin approval workflow. Here application providing pricing to sales team and channel partners.

Client Pain Points (Generalized for OEMs):

Before implementing the solution, the client, like many OEMs relying on a Dealer/Distributor model, faced several challenges:

  • Lack of Visibility: The client had no clear visibility into the status of leads or the estimated time of completion (ETA) of key processes, leading to confusion and delayed actions.
  • Manual Discount Approval Workflow: The approval process was manual and depended heavily on emails and phone calls, creating communication gaps, accountability issues, and missed opportunities.
  • Inconsistent Communication: The client’s internal team and external dealers communicated through multiple emails and phone calls, which often led to missed or misunderstood updates.
  • No Centralized Reporting: The client had no access to real-time reporting or key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress, success, and areas needing improvement. This resulted in a lack of data-driven decisions.

Solution

Megh Technologies has developed handy web tool to create quote where sales team and channel partners create quotations and getting the approval from the management. It is integrated with Salesforce and Existing ERP for getting lead data and price data to make quotation.

Conclusion

We have successfully delivered and maintaining this cloud-based quote tool which used by more than 500 users to creating quote and getting approval from management for margin.
