Website Design & Development for Cremach by Megh Technologies

The website design for Cremach started with planning the requirements, which included the following:

  1. Responsive Website: A mobile-first design was required. Apart from being accessible on all devices, the Cremach website needed to be fast-loading even on slower mobile networks. Images were optimized to load faster, and the website speed was improved. Technology was used to ensure the website was not only optimized for viewing but also for performance.
  2. Industry-Specific Custom Website Design for the Livestock Feed Business: Every industry has a certain design trend, different for each sector, which may focus on content or design. For the Cremach website, the design had to be balanced to portray the content as much as the design and images. The images were important to show the scale of the operations but not the product itself.
  3. Focused on B2B Website Design: Although the business does sell to the retail market, the website also had a major audience in the business sector. The website had to be designed with the B2B market in mind, catering to the business audience as much as to the B2C market.
  4. Branding: Being a company focused on growth and a niche industry, it was important to market Cremach as a brand and a market leader. The design had to reflect Cremach positively while keeping in mind the brand colors, logo, and overall design to match the brand identity.
  5. Navigation & User Experience: The user experience of the website was very important. The navigation needed to be easily accessible on all devices, with a focus on key pages. Colors in the navigation had to be clearly contrasting, and if a dropdown was used, the element needed to be easily identifiable.

Based on the requirements, Megh Technologies created a plan, beginning with a website structure. The structure included all pages and a bare-bones outline of the entire website. The website was mostly static, with no content management system required. The website had four main sections, all containing static content that was rarely updated or changed. The “About Us,” “Solutions,” and “Equipment” sections required no changes, as the content was to remain the same. The “Projects” section, however, would be updated every six months with new projects completed by Cremach. Since updates to the website were minimal, there was no need for a content management system, which would add to the overall cost of the project.

The second phase of the website design involved creating a wireframe for each page. The wireframe was created in Figma. The user interface was decided during this phase for each page, and images, content, and other details were acquired from the client. Once the wireframe was created for each page, the user experience was crafted with Figma. The prototype, which was created, represented the website’s design with images and content. The overall website design was mimicked in the prototype with both a mobile and desktop version.

The final phase was to convert the prototype into a working website using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Megh Technologies used the Bootstrap framework for the process as it has built-in tools to create responsive websites and features that made design and development easy. Sections like the dropdown menu and the burger menu on mobile devices were created seamlessly with Bootstrap’s proven coding.

The final website was tested on a local server before being moved to a test server. The client tested the website on the test server for 24 hours before going live on the domain name cremach.in.

The Results

The website was well appreciated by the client and stakeholders. The design was clean, fast, and responsive. The tests were thorough, and there were no changes needed after deployment. The website has been live for the past year, and with three updates to date, the Cremach website has improved in traffic and has enabled the business to be portrayed as a market leader in the industry.
