Website Requirements
Dynamech Precision Products manufactures products in a niche industry and a wider range of products for general use in the fabrication industry. The company is ISO 2001:2015 certified and meets all quality standards. The company had a good presence in the local market but wanted to expand its presence in the state and eventually at a national level. This required an online presence that would help market their services and products all over India. Being a relatively new company, advertising nationally was not cost-effective. Creating an online presence and growing online would create organic growth for the company with more exposure to the industry than physical marketing.
Dynamech Precision Products understood the importance of an online presence right from the beginning. Led by Mr. Bhargav Chennamsetti, the promoter, and Haresh Darji, the plant head, the company decided to create a website that would showcase it as a market leader in fabrication and drum accessory manufacturing.
The Requirement
- Responsive Website: The website was to be easily accessible on all devices and even on slower networks. The website was to be responsive, mobile-friendly, and fast-loading. The company preferred a mobile-first design approach, as most customers would be browsing the website from a mobile phone. Considering the locations where the services were required, the website was also to be fast-loading on slower networks.
- Custom-Design Business Website: The website had to be custom-designed and unique. There was to be no templated design, and the website should have its individuality. The website should also adhere to industry standards.
- Clean Interface: The design and colors were to be clean, easy to read, and presentable. Colors should be used wisely, with the brand color (a shade of green) used as the primary color. The background should be white, and the images should be adjusted to look presentable. Most of the images were of factory floors, which were not picture-perfect. They were to be made presentable using creative designs.
- Clean Structure and Navigation: The website should be easily navigable, and the structure should be straightforward. The menu should be prominently placed, and the UI should be standardized.
The Design – Megh Technologies UI/UX Design and Development
Megh Technologies suggested a static business website for Dynamech Precision Products, considering the small size of the website and no update requirements in the near future. The website had five pages: About Us, Products, Strength, and Contact Us, apart from the Home page. The content for the website was ready. An additional link to download a brochure was also to be added to the menu.
We started with the wireframe and site structure of the website. The wireframe for each page was designed to meet the client’s requirements. Once approved, the website’s UI/UX was designed in Figma. The entire website prototype, with a workable prototype, was presented in both desktop and mobile views. Once the client was pleased with the design, Megh Technologies moved on to create the entire website in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Coding and Implementation
The website uses Bootstrap for designing with HTML5 and CSS3. The responsive features were added through the Bootstrap framework. The website was designed to be responsive and mobile-friendly. The images were optimized for fast loading. Graphic design was part of the image optimization, which was seamlessly integrated with the design.
The Results
The Dynamech website is a fast-loading business website with a modern design. The simple yet modern design showcased the company and its products effectively. The stakeholders were pleased with the result. The website has been crawled by Google and is accessible on all devices at a speed of less than 3 seconds per page.
