Looking For Custom Web Development Solutions?
Karmyogi Engineers provides niche services as a subcontractor for a group of companies, partnering with L&T, GRM Group, Steelfit, Inoxcva, and Panchmahal Steel Ltd. After notable projects, Karmyogi Engineers aimed for expansion.
Although established in 2005, the company did not find it necessary to create a website until 2019. Despite steady growth, the company did not need to expand its online presence. However, with the completion of the Statue of Unity project, Karmyogi Engineers began to attract attention from prospective partners. The need for an online presence became evident as many clients inquired about a website. Consequently, in 2019, Megh Technologies was engaged as the company’s online partner.
Objective
The objective was to create a website that reflects the superior work of Karmyogi Engineers, especially highlighting their involvement in the Statue of Unity project. The website needed to display all services and products with detailed information, present the company in a positive light with an excellent design aligned with industry trends, and be fast-loading and responsive. A special section was to be dedicated to past clients.
Process
Megh Technologies decided to create a static website using the Bootstrap framework. The website was to be primarily built with HTML5 and CSS3, with JavaScript used for microanimations and effects. The home page was designed to feature a parallax scrolling effect with continuous scrolling logos of clients. The Statue of Unity image was highlighted, showcasing Karmyogi’s work on the project. the UI/UX Design should be aligned with the Industry but simple and focused on the content rather than the design itself.
The website was designed to be responsive, fast, and mobile-friendly. The process began with defining the site structure and creating a detailed wireframe of the content on each page. This was reviewed by the stakeholders. Once approved, Megh Technologies created a working prototype using Figma for client demonstration.
Final Stage – Website Creation and Deployment
The entire website was converted to HTML and hosted on Megh Technologies’ temporary server. The website was presented to the client, who requested minimal changes. The final website was deployed on a domain registered by Megh Technologies for Karmyogi Engineers at www.karmyogiengineers.com. The web server was an Azure cloud server, chosen for its minimal requirements and budget-friendliness.
Results and Observations
The website design was well-received by both the company owner and the target audience. It generated a moderate amount of traffic from inception/deployment and was expected to gain more traction over time. The responsive design ensured accessibility on mobile phones, with increasing queries as more people showed interest in Karmyogi’s work. The company relies on its projects for marketing, with clients being mostly repeat or referred by existing clients. These clients are the primary audience on the website, seeking more information and contacting the company through the provided phone numbers or email addresses.
